My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] and ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue that they may understand my speech.” (Quran 20:25-28)

Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa, ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa Rabbul ‘arshil ‘atheem

Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.” (Quran 9:129)

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” (Quran 21:87)

Allahumma inni a’udhu bika min al-hammi wal-hazan, wal-‘ajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa dala’id-dayn wa ghalabatir-rijal –

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts, and from being overpowered by men.

Allahumma akfini bihalalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika ‘amman siwak

O Allah, suffice me with what You have permitted instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of anyone but You through Your bounty.

Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer

My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.” (Quran 28:24)

inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’oon, allahummaj’alni farajan wa makhrajan war zuqni khaira min haithu ahtasibu wa min haithu la ahtasib , bi haqqi Muhammadin wa ali muhammadin
